Lillian is an industry veteran with nearly two decades of extensive experience in dialysis nursing, clinical training and managing dialysis centres. Her superiors and peers hold her in high regard for her expert professional knowledge in dialysis ranging from chronic outpatient dialysis – haemodialysis (HD) and peritoneal dialysis (PD), as well as acute dialysis (CRRT, MARS, TPE) and home dialysis.
As a role model, mentor and dialysis centre manager, she was actively involved in outpatient dialysis centres new set-ups, hospital based joint venture projects and management-contract based projects with Singapore non-profit dialysis institutions. Ms Lou believes in developing clinical leadership to improve dialysis quality, outcomes and patient satisfaction. She had led clinical improvement projects to enhance clinical best practices and processes. She also advocates that a nurse-led dialysis centre will not only increase patient’s skills and confidence in managing their health problems but also improves Infection Control, instrumental in making dialysis safer for patients. She is currently the Chief Operating Officer and Co-founder of TAL Dialysis
Angela Tan - B. Nursing (University of Sydney), Dip in Nursing
Chief Nursing Officer
Angela has over 20 years of extensive nursing experience and specializes in haemodialysis & peritoneal dialysis in-centres as well as home-based setting. She had successfully spearheaded the setting up of various dialysis centres from 2012-15 which have seen profitable growth and was rapidly promoted to SNM in recognition of her exceptional performance in management and dedication towards nursing and care for her patients. She was also praised for her visionary propositions which included reviewing of policies and procedures to provide better patient centric care. Angela also has government hospital working experience in Singapore General Hospital, working in departments such as Medical Intensive Care Unit that is staffed by only the very best nursing officers in Singapore.
To this end, she focuses on research and evidence based practice (EBP) to better address the state, needs, values and preferences of individual patients. Having coming a long way from being a sincere and caring nurse; to a respectable Staff Nurse leading a team of Nurses and finally to a Senior Staff Nurse Manager managing several successful dialysis centres, Angela is now currently the Chief Nursing Officer and Co-founder of TAL Dialysis.
